Apologies for the infrequent nature of my posting, and for how short this post will be.
I will get back to a more regular basis, but for now I'm working at my NEW JOB! :)
Long story short (through a series of interesting moments) I applied for a new experience.
I had applied for a middle school position and got the job. I am now a middle school social studies teacher!
I'm excited, overwhelmed (I got the job on a Tuesday afternoon, spent the weekend throwing a shower for my sis in law, and started teaching on the next Wednesday morning-a week later!), and nervous... I am ready for this new challenge and am crossing fingers and toes that I do a good job.

Good for you! I'm sure you'll be a lovely lovely teacher. Good of me to retire so as to make room for you, wasn't it?
